Out of the Darkness – Suicide Prevention
Last week, FOCUS had the privilege of participating in the Out of Darkness Walk at the University of Albany with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- Capital Region, NY. Walking alongside others in our community was a good reminder that none of us are alone.
Mental health challenges are something many people face every day, and this May, during Mental Health Awareness Month, we are especially mindful of the importance of showing up, supporting one another, and staying connected.
Community matters. It can be a lifeline. When we show up for one another, we help reduce isolation and build hope. We’re proud to be part of a community committed to supporting those impacted by mental health challenges and suicide, because together, we are stronger, and Together, We Can Make a Difference.
