Community Cookout Welcomes 300 Neighbors

On July 23 FOCUS joined the National Union of the Homeless for an afternoon of food and community.

The cookout was a great success, bringing together approximately 300 people. FOCUS was glad to contribute 50 hot dogs and 74 hamburgers to help feed the crowd.

The National Union of the Homeless brings people together to work toward ending homelessness and poverty and creating greater social and economic justice for all. We were grateful for the opportunity to support its work, connect with our neighbors, and be part of such a welcoming community gathering
