FOCUS volunteers known as the "FOCUS Advocates" come together to organize and mobilize individuals and other community organizations to work for systemic and structural change to address issues including poverty, social and racial injustice and other pressing concerns.  Advocates are involved in the fight for a living wage, an end to poverty and homelessness, as well as reform of our criminal justice and immigration systems.  FOCUS also supports the Poor People's Campaign.

Advocates help raise awareness and provide education about the causes and ways to address issues.  They work at grassroots levels with others and participate in peaceful demonstrations.  FOCUS and FOCUS Advocates invite our local leaders and elected officials to learn more by visiting our programs and meeting with and talking with our guests.
